Lovin’ Some Disney World Snacks, Only This Time, They’re Drinks!

Every photo has a story.

Good ol’ Aloha Isle, a Disney snackster’s paradise over in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom, is a great place to pick up a frozen Disney snack. The Mouze Kateerz Staff is always on the lookout for “inexpensive” (is there really such a thing at Disney?) and yummy snacks throughout the Disney World property. Here’s a look at our favorites this time ’round the World, and today, we went with the liquid variety for a change of pace, as we slip toward summer vacation and the temperatures start to rise.

Maleah Moskoff from chachatea.net found her perfect drink over at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. “Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a diamond waiting to be discovered. If you have a car and can get over to the new villa area, check out Sanna. The fusion of African and Indian cuisine is beautiful. With views of the savanna and authentic decor surrounding, it’s a true Disney dining experience. As a tea lover, I find it hard to find a great tasting cup at Disney. Sanaa offers loose teas from India and Africa. Authentic and great quality teas, served in proper tea ware, they are affordable and a perfect match to the remarkable dessert options. A pot of tea was $6.20. The photo is a mango rooibos tea from South Africa.”

Shannan from Addicted to Mickey found this wonder of ice creamy goodness at Wilderness Lodge’s Whispering Canyon Cafe.

“The Sheriff’s milkshakes are made from scratch and bottomless. The chocolate shake is made with real vanilla ice cream, swirled with chocolate syrup, and topped with whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry.”

Sheriff’s Shakes come in three varities-Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. They are All-You-Care-To-Enjoy, and they are priced at $6.69.

This looks like exactly what I need to ruin my dinner.

Here’s another good use of ice cream and an equally sinful way to ruin your dinner.

The Coke Float is one of my son Carson’s favorite Disney drinks. At snack stands like Aloha Isle, Coke or Rootbeer floats are priced at $4.19. Pineapple floats, which can be Vanilla, Pineapple or Orange dole whip with Pineapple juice, are priced at $4.49. And because I know you are curious, a Dole Whip Soft-served ice cream is $3.49. That’s a bargain.

Princess Half marathon drink, Disney champagne, Epcot Food and Wine

When in France…drink champagne!

Here’s Maleah with our last drink. “When in France…drink champagne! I was caught up in the excitement of the Princess Half Marathon Weekend fun and ordered an adult beverage at The Chefs de France. I was intrigued by the Elderflower infused St. Germain cocktail. My drink was served with a stainless steel spoon/straw, and it was light and refreshing. My mom, a lover of all things French, ordered a glass of real Champagne, not that sparkling wine stuff! We used the Tables in Wonderland card for 20% food and drinks. The cost of our drinks from France was $8 for the Champagne and $8.50 for the St. Germain Cocktail. That’s really on par with an average beer in any of the World Showcase countries.”
