Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, the home of the famous “Kitchen Sink” dessert, is a sweet little shop found at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts over near Epcot. If you are staying on property, or even if you are staying elsewhere, this is a fabulous place to spend an afternoon or evening, take a walk around Crescent Lake at the center of the Boardwalk Resorts, and stop in for a some great food and cold goodies.
Curious about what they serve to eat? Lots of the Disney restaurants have menus posted online but not Beaches and Cream. So I turned to a tremendous source of Disney information, Allears.net, and used the menu they had online for pricing. Ofcourse prices are subject to change without notice. We’ve started out with the hot lunch and dinner items, saving dessert for last. That’s not how I would do things in real life; I personally would go for dessert first.

This fabulous photo above is the Beaches and Cream dessert called “The Kitchen Sink, “ and the photo is compliments of my friend Beth over at A Disney Mom’s Thoughts. Holy ice cream, Mickey, look at that! Beth filled me in on all the yummy details. “It’s eight scoops of different flavored ice cream served with all the toppings in the house and an entire can of whipped cream! Some of the toppings include brownies, Oreo cookies, bananas, candy bar pieces, hot fudge, cake, and cherries.”
I asked Beth if her group had a good time eating at Beaches and Cream. “When your group, and yes, you need a GROUP, orders the Kitchen Sink, the lights will dim and additional lights on the ceiling will flash and spin while the waitress presents your dessert along with a special announcement! The cost is around $24 and you need at least 6 adults with large appetites to finish it all! If you like sweets, ice cream or chocolate at all, you’ll love this dessert! Beth displays her thoughts and snacks over at A Disney Mom’s Thoughts on Facebook.
